Carol Concert and Race Night

On Friday 8th December 2006 a Carol Concert took place in St Ann's church which included Stocksbridge Band. They played all manor of Christmas carols and festive tunes. The packed church were spellbound by their professionalism and the band marched off on their second standing ovation.

Then it was into the hall for a Race Night which was conducted by a very enthusiastic and loud presenter. Again the packed audience won and lost in equal measure but a good time was had by all.

Mick Ward who organised both events would like to thank again all who helped with the night including the sponsors. £848 was raised for the youth fund trip to Australia.
