Dunford Bridge is just off the A628 Barnsley to Manchester road (Woodhead Pass). From Manchester, we are about 10 mins further on than Glossop SC, and from Sheffield/Barnsley, about 15 mins from Stocksbridge. There are no other turns off the A628 for three miles either side of Windle Edge, so it is hard to go wrong.
