We have tried to bring Shakespeare to life by performers living and working in a community with very little experience of Shakespeare.

We have found the comedy, themes, attitudes and story as fresh for us today as it was over four hundred years ago. Our world has strong parallels with Shakespeare’s world, but Shakespeare also gives us a wonderful language through which to tell our story.
