We're doing Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child 2015

Operation Christmas Child is the world's largest children's Christmas project and sends a message of hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled shoe boxes.

Since 1990, more than 124 million boys and girls in over 150 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Together with you and thousands of dedicated volunteers around the UK, we are able to share the love of Jesus Christ and the joy of Christmas with millions of boys and girls.

With your help we can reach even more children in the poorest parts of the world in 2015.

Can you make up a shoebox with items such as toys, colouring pens, crayons, felt tips, games, puzzles, jigsaws, toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap, flannel, sweets? You also need to include £3.00 or more, towards transport and distribution costs.

Alternatively you can donate items for the boxes by leaving them church porch at St Ann's or St Mary's and we will make up the boxes or even make up a box online at Shoebox World

For more ideas on what to include and for information on how to make up the boxes visit the Operation Christmas Child website where you can also download a leaflet and label for your box

The boxes and gifts can be left at St Ann's between now and end of November or at St Mary's so please make your contributions as soon as possible.

You can also drop off boxes at other churches and collection points in the area, for a list of times and places click here.
